Sneaky Bastard's Way of Getting BacklinksWell, if you are a sneaky bastard and you would like to get backlinks to your site, here are some methods I have discovered on the Internet. Some are even downright disgusting, so beware. Please note that this is not a recommended way to get backlinks so don't try it. It is just for entertainment purposes, okay?
Post in forums:
1. Look for high traffic forums and then look for threads which have a lot of pages. Then post your site's backlink in it. This kind of thread have tons of posts with a lot of people participating. So even if the forum is heavily moderated, it may be overlooked or ignored by moderators.
2. Delibrately edit some parts of your site so it won't work properly. Then go and ask for help on a webmaster site by pasting a link to your site and complaining that a particular script/software doesn't work. It will work better if you post in the script's own tech support forum. Best of all, this trick gets you some traffic as well. You do need to curse and swear a lot too.
3. Be rude to others in the forums. Or start bashing the owner or the admins in the forum. You will bound to become notorious in no time. And once you become notorious and everyone hates you, people will tend to blog/talk about you and what you do. And presto! Backlinks to your site, eg "That idiot troll in this forum even has a website !" You may even like all the attention.
4. Spam forums which are inactive. Works wonders here. Nobody is there to remove or delete your link. Works for old blogs too.
5. Put your backlink URL in the full stop, commas, exclamation marks and so on. Eg [url=http://www.mysite.com].[/url]. Best to use the full stop, small thus harder to spot.
Your content:
1. Try creating a site with the domain name "something-famous-sucks".com. Of course, your site's title should be around the same. Then start bashing "something-famous" left and right. You can also set your sights for big name companies, this works even better. You are bound to get backlinks from netizens from this. In fact, I almost guarantee it will. "Hate" sites will be linked, always. But whether you get shut down or whether you will get sued is another thing.
2. In addition to the above tip, try bashing Microsoft or George Bush or some internet public enemy. These targets, netizens will never get tired of hammering. And links from grateful fellow netizens will come. Okay, these two tips are more acting like an asshole than a sneak, but it works, right?
3. Start a web design company and start designing flash websites for newbies. Then place a link or two or even ten links at the footer of their site to your site. Please don't forget to charge them a ton of money for placing your link on their site. And "shock and awe" them by using more flash animations if they get smart.
Others:
1. Goto those script demo sites. Usually these sites allow you to try out a particular script like a Content Management Script. And with this "demo", you can sneak in your backlink. And you will be surprised to see that a lot of these demo's content are not even cleared for months, even years and they do get indexed.
