Celebration on fermentation. Yes, at last people start to realize the importance of fermentation to regards to taste and health. We tend to think of fermentation as making beer and wines but that is just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other foodstuff which can be made from fermentation - breads, kimchi, cheese, yogurt and so on, they are all made from fermentation. And this event helps to promote fermentation, which sadly a lot of people don't understand the importance. And it is a celebration of cooking with fermented foods. Don't just brew beer, you can cook with it. Don't just make sourmilk, bake breads with it. There are so many things that can be done with fermented foods, especially when it comes to enhancing flavours. And for all you fermentation fanatics, this event is the place to meet the farmers, chefs, artists, poets and cheesemakers. Workshops, farm tours, tastings, art events, demostrations and cooking classes are all included.
