PHD stands for Piled Higher and Deeper. And yes, it deals with "academia" so you get quite a lot of jokes and comics on students, teachers, professors and schools.  It follows the life of a few grad students and we all know that university life is all fun and party. And the hero of the comic is actually nameless, which is quite unique. I usually don't read web comics but this one is pretty good and for those who have been through college or is going through it now, I think you would relate to some of the stories. And I believe that I draw some of the best stick figures so maybe I should upgrade and start going to web comics. I do admit, the drawings are pretty good and the stories are quite interesting. I mean if it is not, it probably won't get so much attention from the public right. Anyway, new comics will usually be published twice per week, so look out for them. You can also buy printed copies of the comic, they are pretty cheap considering - only USD 12 per copy.
