I had thought that only sailors and pirates do body piercing. Well, I am wrong. Just look at the number of tattoo parlours out there - nearly every corner of the street you will find a shop doing tattoos or selling some form of body jewelry. Of course body jewelry do not need to be that extreme - I have seen pretty nice but mild "body jewelry" being sold and rather popular among the younger female crowd, but when you think of body art, you do tend to think of it being like painful and all about body modification.
