I am not too sure whether they are all original content, but from the few posts I have seen, they should be. Or at least extracts from other history websites. Anyway, since they are sponsored by the US Naval Institute, the content should be reliable, don't you worry. They won't give you false information. However, as we all know, there are always different points of views from different perspectives. It is always good to read someone else's viewpoints. And you can get to comment on the blog post as well. Pretty good in my opinion. Anyway, what you get is little snipplets of information on the history of the American navy, something I am sure there are quite a lot of interest on.
