So you can search and find a group with the same interests as you and join them for coffee or some event. So if you like basketball, just key in basketball and your zip code and you will find various groups with the same interest living nearly. You can then of course join them in whatever event they are doing - to share ideas, change something or even to learn new stuff. You can even find groups in the same location and simply meet for the fun of it. Great way to meet new people if you ask me. They took a simple idea and make it feasible. Of course it is always important to take some precautions when meeing strangers on the Internet. And always meet in a public place, unless you are familiar and comfortable with the rest of the group.
