The self-proclaimed "the world's local bank". And it is getting bigger. It actually started in Hong Kong with several branches in 1885 and they have since expanded to become one of the world's largest bank. And like all emerging banking entities, they are organized into commercial, personal and private banking. I guess they go where the money is. That is the purpose of banks anyway. If there is no money, it is pointless to have a bank anyway. One thing I hate about banks, they seem to be more interested in money than customer relationship. And sometimes, they seem to be too overbearing and inflexible. And bankers are certainly not too popular with the public as well, especially after the financial problems "they" have created during the last financial downturn. Anyway, HSBC is now headquartered in England - the financial hub of the world.
