Nearly everyone who has a TV or an Internet connection would probably have heard of this little investment firm. Everytime someone mentions Goldman Sachs, the coins in your pocket probably jingle with fear and dread. Na, just kidding. They are involved in global investment banking, investment management as well as in securities and research. Honestly, reading up on their history and all the events that shaped the company makes my head hurt. Investment banking and financial nonsense is seriously only for those people who love money a bit too much. They have scheme that takes money to buy something, then wait till the prices drop and you make money out of it! I gave up understand all these schemes and inventures after that. Their headquarters is at New York and probably located very close to the New York Stock Exchange. Lets just hope that these people won't destroy our economy and our banks with their bright "money making" ideas.
