This is not kiddy stuff like what you see the kids doing nowadays. It is not meant for kids to send SMS or whatever. It is a software meant for better uses. Lets say you are in a third world nation where there are few facilities for communication. You can convert a laptop into a two way communication device with their software and allow users to message instantly. As long as you have cellphone coverage, you are good to go. Once everything is setup, you can send mass messages to your contacts easily. I know it is hardly useful for us. We have Internet access everywhere. But not everyone has the luxury of being able to communicate on the laptop as easy as us. Frontline SMS sorts of bridge the gap and allows at least some freedom for their users. Not a perfect solution but when you are in Uganda, you won't get a perfect solution.
