We know how businesses do their business right? As long as they can make profits, they don't care one bit. That is why we have regulations. If not, most of us would probably have died from some dreadful disease or cancer or something from the food we eat, especially those processed food we see so often in the supermarkets.  And Food Standards Agency is one of the agencies in charge of making sure that the food we buy are up to standard for human consumption. You would be surprised to see how food is being prepared in some places - and you would never eat those food again. Thank the gods we have this agency to help us prevent all that. But we have to admit, there is no way they can be everywhere right? So there will surely be some gaps or loopholes where contaiminated food will get through. I just hope that these are few and far between. They also administrate the "Food Hygiene Rating" standards for restaurants and eateries. Good luck out there.
