Anyone naming their company Fairy is just plain fruity and asking for it. Come on, don't you think that they are the butt on everyone's jokes in the corporate environment? However, not surprisingly, Fairy is a rather popular brand among housewives and househusbands. Why? Because they sells detergents and soaps, that is why. They are actually extremely popular in the UK, having several different household brands under their name. They sell detergents, fabric softeners, soaps, shampoos, skincare products and many more. All very common household items which only the housewife would like. And they control the UK market in this regards. However, they are not that popular in the United States and even in other European countries. I guess it has something to do with their name. We can't blame them right? Who in their right mind would want to buy a product with the bright big name in front of their packaging - Fairy?
