Wearing a kilt in public is art in itself right? No? Well then, you should visit the Edinburgh Art Festival and join some smelly Braveheart clan and learn more about art. And how Scotland has grown. In Braveheart, Edinburgh was a muddy dirty collection of huts and some walls resembling a castle, but now it is the home to one of the most popular art festivals in the world. And unlike other visual art festivals, they claim to have everything for everyone. I don't know what that really means, but very likely they have many many art forms included in the festivals. Check out their website to see which galleries, artists, museums or arthouse is being featured in their festival. I have to admit, they do have an impressive lineup in the previous years. But for someone who has discerning taste like myself, I hold judgement till I actually visit their event. Now I just need to find a way to shave my hairy legs without too much pain.
