A very simple idea - to check whether a website is down or not. Sometimes when you try to browse to a website, you can't access it. And you can't be sure whether it is down only for you or down for everyone. It could simply be that your ISP is acting up or somewhere the Internet connection is not stable. Or it could just be slow due to a huge traffic spike. Others may be able to access, just not for you. Instead of asking your friends or someone far away to test, why not use this service? It helps you test whether the site in question is down or not. Too bad they have only one server to test from. It would be better if they had like 3 other servers in different continents to really check whether a site is having problems. But at least it is still useful. Just key in the URL you are trying to access and they will tell you whether they can access it from their end or not.
