Yet another bank. This one is based in Italy. But don't think that they are a small bank, they are one of the largest bank in Europe. In fact, they are the third largest bank there. Of course now with Italy in deep financial trouble, one can only guess how they will be affected. One thing about banks is that for commoners like us, we have no idea when or how they will collapse. Even experts in the industry have no idea - they just collapse the next day causing problems for us mere commoners. And the worse thing is that the bankers who caused these problems are seldom prosecuted or anything. In fact, a lot of them got big bonuses and payout. We honestly lived in a fucked up world. Anyway, Banca Intesa is involved in retail banking, corporate banking, banking subsidies in regional markets and another in world banking. Pretty vague, I know. But perhaps that is the point - it is supposed to be vague. As for performance, I have no idea how well they are compared to the rest of the banks.
