You just need to be involved in the industry and you can be a member. Everything deals with supply and demand and money right? You can join as member in order to get access to their publications and research. You can also present your own research to the members. This way you get to meet and network with the rest of the industry, which is actually pretty important. Their annual meeting attracts about a thousand members each year - shows you that the industry is indeed big and growing. Members can exchange ideas, solutions, knowledge and contacts within the organization. You can even upload your member profile onto their website to showcase your skills and expertise.
