Their product line includes consumer electronic products, home products, power tools, industrial products and services, telecommunication, water treatment as well as car accessories. Wow, a rather diverse portfolio for this "little" German company. Although they have faced numerous financial difficulties in the past, hopefully they will grow stronger in the future. They started in 1887 and have been in the electrical and electronic field since then. Of course, the electronic market came much later. They were involved in developing motors, locomotives and even aircrafts. Now they are stuck with producing things which only the housewife would appreciate. But at least their household products look elegant. I am not too sure about their quality though as I can't find any AEG stuff in my local hardware store or the household appliances store. By the way, their slogan is "Perfekt in Form und Funktion". No idea what that means, maybe a swear phrase in German.
