Haze Gray & Underway This site is for all history buffs and those who are into naval stuff. I used to be a big fan of such sites because I love anything with big guns and can blow things up beautifully. Yes, that was a while ago when I was much much younger. Anyway, this does not mean that I have lost interest in history or anything in uniform. I still do but it has to be in the backburner for the time being. However for the rest of you who have the time, please take a look at this site. It contains comprehensive information on naval history - American, Canadian and thr rest of the world. They even have a dictionary of American naval fighting ships for you to gawk at. Have a lok at their photographs of those ships and express wonder at how engineering had evolved. And if you are interested in the rest of the world, they have information on their fleets as well.

Naval History Blog Sponsored by the US Naval Institute as well as the Naval History & Heritage Command. What you will find here will be blog posts by various bloggers on the subject of naval history. I am not too sure whether they are all original content, but from the few posts I have seen, they should be. Or at least extracts from other history websites. Anyway, since they are sponsored by the US Naval Institute, the content should be reliable, don't you worry. They won't give you false information. However, as we all know, there are always different points of views from different perspectives. It is always good to read someone else's viewpoints. And you can get to comment on the blog post as well. Pretty good in my opinion. Anyway, what you get is little snipplets of information on the history of the American navy, something I am sure there are quite a lot of interest on.

Royal Navy History One of the most impressive navies in the world. Even their history is very impressive. They have conquered the world and make their presence felt in nearly every continent. Not too shabby for a country that lies of Europe and where even the Romans did not want to civilize. However, I know that most of us aren't that interested in the Royal Navy History but if you are looking for something interesting to read, this is it. I am betting no other navy's history is as varied and as impressive as the Royal Navy's. Come on, you have to admit they did what most other powers in the world could not, especially at that time. You can browse through the site by checking out the periods and timeline. I guess the easiest way to get into the thick of things is just read through their featured articles.
