| Print What You Like Don't you just hate it when you try to print a website, the result is pages and pages of paper wasted? The reason is that websites are not actually meant to be printed, they are designed to be displayed on your browser. But luckily, now we have "Print What You Like". This site enables you to preview what you are printing and make any adjustments to it. You can remove ads, shift columns and so on. Bascially it allows you to create a print-friendly version of the website. Surely it will come useful one day for most of us. I remember needing to copy the entire website out and paste on MS Word and do editting there. Tedious. By signing up, "Print What You Like" also enables you to save those printable versions for later use as well. |

| Hack A Day Pretty interesting website. One of my favorite website when it comes to interesting things happening around the world. And not only that it comes with some rather nifty hacks and tutorials. No, it is not a "hacker" website. The word "hack" has been abused by the TV and movie industry too much. Hackers are actually people who "look under the hood" of computers, gadgets and even common items to look into how they function and how to improve on them. They are not usually evil people who break into computer systems in the Pentagon to look for classified materials or steal information from credit card companies and such. Anyway, with the advent of videos, Hack A Day usually comes with a video tutorial as well. Reading through the website, I am rather impressed at how innovative some people are - you can turn beer cans into loud bells and even some other goofy stuff which can save you some money. I like it but some of the tutorials require some technical experience first. |
