| Old Navy Whenever someone puts the word "old" into their brand name, I would certainly support them. Like Old Bay, Old Spice and so on. But Old Navy is not meant for old guys like me, it is actually a casual clothing chain for youngsters. If only I knew, I would not be so quick to judge them. They are a relatively new brand, only started in 1994 and they are owned by The Gap. Anything owned by The Gap is probably not going to suit my taste. But for the young, they just love these stuff. Their designs catered mainly to the kids and young adults and their prices are pretty decent. Decent enough so that most youngsters can afford to buy one or two of their T-shirts or bermudas per month or so. Their popular clothing lineup includes Tech Vest, Flip Flops, and the Performance Fleece. They also sell a vaierty of accessories like toys, handbags, shoes and even sunglasses. I guess the young nowadays are very into these kind of stuff. Anyone knows why they call themselves Old Navy in the first place? |
