I don't know. It sounds so confusing. Honestly I have adsolutely no idea what they are talking about - all gibberish and tech talk that makes my head hurt. Probably if you are a programmer or a software designer you would understand what they are saying. Basically it is some algorithm that helps users visualize the way their programs flow or something like that. Their website has more information on how it works. I got lose in the first paragraph so perhaps you should have a go at it yourself. They even dare to claim it is simple. Ya, perhaps I have been out of the industry for just way too long. You can download their software and have a try - it helps to visualize and monitor lots of interesting things during evolution, including the evolutionary dynamics, fitness distribution, program size distribution, the rounding threshold and so on. All the things a programmer might be interested in. For us humans and normal people, we just look and be amazed at how boring one can really be.
