| Lowe's America's favourite home improvement store. Not a place for you if you are suffering from mysophobia. I am rather surprised that such stores are still flourishing considering that nowadays I hardly can find anyone able to fix their own light bulb. Heck, most people can't even open their windows if it wasn't by brute force. They have over 1700 stores in United States alone. At least that means that there are still people who can use their hands to do something. Lowe's DIY stores usually carry stuff like gardening equipment and accessories, construction and renovation parts and supplies, flooring tiles and accessories, painting equipment and supplies, DIY tools and many many more. The thing I love about this store, it gives me a chance to pretend that I can do wonders with my hands. So I go and buy some of them stuff, which I then put into my shed and it will never be touched. Yup, I am indeed not the sharpest tool in the shed. You should also check out their home improvement ideas section to see what you can do to improve your home. Good luck and hope you won't lose a finger or an arm while you are at it. |

| Ace Hardware You might be mistaken that this hardware store sells computer & IT accessories but they don't. They sell those stuff people use to build things better. You know like your house, your kitchen, your garden or even your small little office? No, never done anything like that in your life? That could be true for most of us, but surprisingly such hardware stores (or DIY stores) are pretty popular among Americans. Apparently a lot of Americans still love to get their hands dirty and do home improvements themselves. Anyway, Ace Hardware inventory includes equipment for lawns, kitchen, gardens as well as for painting, plumbing, heating and even auto parts and accessories. And if your local Ace Hardware store don't carry them, you can order them onlne and have it delivered to your local store. I personally like their various types of grills - reminds me of the time when I was younger and full of life for entertainment with friends and neighbours. Now I can barely even wake up in the morning. |
