Even so, every Aston Martin is very much a product of today’s technology. | BMW BMW is short for Bayerische Motoren Werke AG. I bet that you didn't know that right? Neither did I. I guess we are so used to calling them BMW that we didn't realize that they do have a real name. Well, they are a German automotive company famous for their powerful engines. Other than designing great looking cars, they also design and sell engines to other vehicle manufacturers. Why? Because their engines are good thats why. They also product motorcycles as well. Again, yet another tidbit which most much people know about. I have to admit, I really love their cars. Even those newer ones I do have a fondness for. Of course several of their vintage models are my favourite. Their cars can be found in almost every road in the world - they are indeed very popular. If you can't find a BMW car in some areas, then it must be very very rural. Visit their website to check out the latest models of cars they have or just read up on their history. |

| Bentley Motors Online The home of Bentley motors online. Bentley Motors was founded by W.O. Bentley in 1919 when the first Bentley engine burst into life at New Street Mews, London. From these modest beginnings, W.O’s company went from strength to strength through the 1920s, with an evolving series of acclaimed motor cars and a parade of racing triumphs to prove their outstanding performance. These laurels were capped with five outright victories at Le Mans between 1924 - 1930 and a sixth in 2003.
If we had mission statements in those days, it could not have been expressed more eloquently than in the words of W.O. himself, “To build a good car, a fast car, the best in classâ€. - |

| Alfa Romeo What a name like that, who won't like their stuff. And their stuff just happens to be cars. And not just ordinary run-of-the-mill kind of cars, but real sport cars, Italian style. Cars with this Italian flair seems more appealing to a lot of people. It was founded in 1910 and have been building expensive sport cars since then. I guess if you take a Honda and stick the Alfa Romeo logo on it, you can sell the car for 3 times the original price. Although they have stopped producing those extremely high end range, the prices of their vehicles still remain high. High enough to retain at least some of their exclusivity. They also produce light commerical vehicles if you would believe. If I have dough, I would definitely go for Alfa Romeo cars. The problem is that I don't have the dough and I don't really like cars that much. For me, cars just need to do one function - transport me to and from some destination and I then keep it in my garage. |

| Koenigsegg Automotive Ltd A large network of suppliers and partners is tied to Koenigsegg, most of which are based in Sweden. Many are small companies and craftsmen that produce low volumes of high quality components. Both the assembly and the manufacture of the components is very labour intensive (e.g. all 300+ carbonfibre parts that make up each car), and the materials are without exception very costly. This is the reason for the high price of a Koenigsegg. - |
