| Theoi Greek Mythology Ahhh....Greek Mythology. They are just great. Don't you love reading those stories when you were young? I know nowadays the stories are that hardcore, but when I was young they were not only interesting, they were unique as well. Only the Greeks would think up of such stories and have them written down in books or art. Anyway, this site explores the world of Greek Mythology through the use of literature and art. I don't really understand what that means but in my opinion, they just would like to compare art and Greek Mythology. So for example, if you take a piece of vase or some sculpture from don't know when, they will tell you who that fellow is in the vase or sculpture. Yes, they are that geeky. So if you are interested in Titans, Giants, Nymphs, Leviathan (like from the TV series Supernatural), gods, goddess, kings, queens, heroes and so on, visit this site. You will be amazed at how large this collection of art and literature is. They even have the entire family tree of the Greek pantheon of gods, so you won't be bored. |
